Thursday April 18, 2013: (optional- you may also pick up race morning)

5:30pm - 8pm: Packet Pick-Up and race merchandise sales, east side. REI @ The District @ Green Valley Ranch. 2220 Village Walk Drive Suite #150/ Henderson, NV 89052. YES- you may pick up a friend's packet.

**There is no packet pick up on Friday**

Saturday, April 20, 2013:

  • 6am: Buses will start departing from the off site parking area located off Sandy Valley Road (see tabs "Travel" then "Directions") for the race start line. Spectators must use this off site lot and bus as well. Priority will be given to the earliest starting races and buses will run on a rotation. One way trip should be about 5 minutes.
  • 6am: Runners may start checking in at the start line and picking up their packets.
  • 7am: 100 miler and 50 miler drop bags must be received at the start line no later than 7am.
  • 7:00am: 100 miler, 50 miler, and marathon start time
  • 7:30am: 1/2 Marathon (Day 1) Start time
  • 8am: 10K (Day 1) Start time
  • Buses run continuously as they are full to return runners to their cars
  • Finish line food will be provided
  • Awards will be handed out for the 50 miler, marathon, 1/2, and 10K at the finish line
  • Any spectators or pacers arriving after 8am should stop by the start line first before proceeding to the off site parking area. This way we know to send the shuttle.
  • 50 & 100 miler drop bags will be returned to the start line at the aid station shift change, TBD. We will work on establishing a way to get bags back as soon as practical- while ensuring only the right bags come back. Likely, when you are done with your bag for the final time (50 miler and 100 miler) we will have you place it in a "DONE" area. More info as the race approaches.

Sunday, April 21, 2013:

  • 6am: 50K drop bags must be received at the start line no later than 6am
  • 6am: 50K Start time
  • 7:30am: 1/2 Marathon (Day 2) Start time
  • 8am: 10K (Day 2) Start time
  • Finish line food will be provided
  • Awards will be handed out for the 100 miler, 50K, 1/2 marathon, and 10K at the finish line.
  • A specific "award ceremony" specifically for the 100 milers is yet to be determined.
  • 50K Drop bags will be returned to the start line by 1:30pm
  • Buses will run continuosly on a rotation to return runners to their cars.
  • Course officially closes at 3pm

** SUNDAY@ 12pm: 100 miler and 50 miler awards "social" at race headquarters (start/ finish line). We will be serving refreshments and will provide an atmosphere where you can swap "war stories" and cheer in the last remaining 100 mile runners and Sunday's 50K runners. Awards winners will be recognized- though the actual awards will be handed out as the runners come into the finish.
