COURSE
Once in a Blue Moon is a fixed time event, where by you run, walk, crawl as many miles as you are able (or wish) to in the allotted time. Chose from 12 Hours, 6 Hours, 3 Hours, or 1 Hour.
The couse is a 1.22 mile closed counter-clockwise loop on the paved trails at Equestrian Park, in Henderson, NV. These trails are awesome, being completely removed from vehicular traffic; and are a satellite trail system which feeds into the greater River Mountains Loop Trail. The trail is mostly flat, with slight incline or decline in some areas. Though each lap is a net zero elevation gain.
While you may cover as many miles as you wish in the allotted time, for your information, we will be marking off the location of half marathon, marathon, 50K, 50 mile, and 100K distances.
